I've got numerous doe and fawns on my Game Cams that are watching my feeders, but not a single buck since February. I was talking to a guy last week that said he had the same problem. He said that he decided to hang his feeders high up in the trees to see if the bucks were avoiding the feeders. He said that he's had bucks standing under every feeder since. I found a few videos on bear proofing feeders by suspending them in the trees and decided to give it a shot. If I still don't get any bucks on camera, at least I've made it super easy to fill them!. I used a 600lb boat winch, 5/16 cable, pulleys and eye bolts and got everything functioning properly. The cable is rated for 380lbs so I'm limiting the feeder to 4 - 50lb bags of corn keeping the total weight at around 250lbs. We had a strong thunderstorm and high winds last night and I ran out to check on the feeder this morning and it's still hanging and everything is solidly in place. Fingers crossed!
