FPA membership is it valued

Hey I am just curious if anyone is a member of the FPA - Family Protection Association.

I stumbled on a Flashlight give away that had a connected offer of a folding knife with membership, which states free give aways.

The text read as follow

I noticed this said monthly free gear offers.

I am just curious if anyone has done this in the past, and if so if they feel they got value for the $50 of annual membership?

I have to add that in fact the knife does appear to be normally listed at the 119$ mark but I also see it offered for about 25.

If infact it is the largest prepping organization bigger than SAFE etc.. then there must be a member on this board.

I also notice this offers website is about half price the normal membership fees listed on their website
