HOA emails me...they are watching my land.

I contact the president of our hoa to discuss how a hunting vote went down. We bought our Bol in an area that has certain hoa restrictions. Shooting firearms is against code at this moment...but land owners are may have gained enough votes to overturn the restriction.

But what I got back was an email that really disturbed me.

"One comment for you. It looks like you may have a some HVAC equipment on the ground outside your barn. There are cattle and horses grazing on the ranch and there are lots of hoof prints at your place. We have also recently experienced some break-in vandalism and an illegal marijuana plot. ******* county is experiencing a higher crime rate than usual due to the marijuana growing in the county. You may want to move that HVAC equipment inside your barn so the cattle don't stomp on it or someone steals it.

I tour the lots every couple of weeks and notify owners if I see anything strange. If you'd email me your telephone number(s) I'll add it to the listing we have for owners."

Sure is it great that he's looking out for us....but why not give a heads up?

He later sent an email that I can't repost for certain reasons.....but let's just say he seems very intimate with my 35 acres.

Also the hvac is a 4ton unit attached to the side. If I move it inside I can't use it anymore.

I want to respond....but with reason....not the rage I am feeling. That never leads to a decent resolution. Especially since he is buddy buddy with our sherif it looks like (email I wish not to repost).
