This is a great example of the MSM embracing PC journalism and showing enmity for the true facts.

The author, Mr. Lamothe, writes the headline "After investigation, Navy's Blue Angels will stop using maneuver that killed a pilot".

The Naval investigation was complete before the Washington Post article and that investigation clearly states that cause of the crash was pilot error. No maneuver "killed a pilot". A great pilot, a Marine hero, made a fatal mistake and paid the ultimate price.

But just as the Left cannot say the words "Islamic Terrorist", the press has great difficulty stating the truth, that human error caused this tragedy. Not an airplane. Not a maneuver. A human, who had a bad day. Like we all do from time-to-time.

Unfortunately, the Navy plays along with the lunacy, and alters airshow altitudes and maneuvers. There is nothing inherently unsafe about a split-S. It is simply an aeronautical math problem. Speed and the radius of the pull-through determine how much altitude the aircraft will lose. Our Marine pilot knew that if he began the split-S at lower than the planned altitude, and at a higher than practiced airspeed, the F-18 would contact the ground.

So, one very experienced, professional pilot has an accident, and the entire team has to wear diapers. If Capt. Kuss was here, he would confidently step up to the microphone and take sole responsibility for the SNAFU.

A final vent...these people on the Left coast need to be reined in. Or, we need to cut them loose. This is just craziness:
