Came home last night and my mom was frantic.She said she put a cd inside her lap top,and somehow it came out when she closed it and is somewhere inside it.
She is elderly,but not senile.
She had the empty cd case right next to it,and I searched all around the area and couldn't find it,so I have to assume thats what happened.
I opened the cd tray and looked with a strong flashlight,couldn't see it,moved it all around and even shook it.Nada.
Not much room in there,very flat and compact,I just don't see how it could come out of the tray and dissappear.
Computer still works.
I am hesitant to try putting in another cd to see what happens,don't want to jack it up.
Also nervous about watching youtube to take it apart.
Computer shop is a 75$ min.just to bring it in.
I don't think she is crazy,but I'm going crazy trying to figure it out.
Any thoughts/comments/suggestions?
