Help with IDing berries, please? [Warning:Large Images]

I found them along a trail in WNY. They were growing on about a 5ft bush in a shady area. They're itty bitty oblong shaped berries. They're navy blue and they grow as clusters at the end of tiny branches. The seed inside takes up majority of the berry. The plant had already lost most of its leaves, but I did save this one. The leaf is about 2 inches long with smooth edges.
Edit: I forgot to mention I rubbed some juice on my arm, but there was no irritation. The berry has a fresh pleasant smell. I didn't taste it.
