I have one of these for plinking and as a rifle that I could fit easily in a hiking pack for day trips. I recently started thinking about if it would be a good shtf gun. I love the 10/22 period. Easily one of the best I've ever owned. With that being said, how do you feel about the black bag with the MOLLE attachment points and the red Ruger symbol on it. I feel like for what it is, a carrying case, it's good. But what about as an EDC or a VERY small 24-48 hour pack? I feel you could make it work with two 2400 cal emergency rations, a Sawyer Life Straw (or pick your favorite water filter), IFAK attached to the MOLLE attachment points on the outside, emergency shelter materials, 50 ft. 550 cord, 250 rds .22 LR, three 10 rd magazines, CCW pistol (I have a M&P Shield .40) with three mags, 21 rds total, and a knife of your choice. I feel like this would be the limit for this bag off the top of my head... I haven't tried any of this out. Does anybody else have any experience with this bag? It could for sure use a better sling, but those aren't hard to come by.
Thanks!
