Strange not being the opposition

I joined up here prior to the 2012 election as the encroachment on our rights was starting to become very discernible. Now that the reverse universe we've lived in for the past 8 years has been reversed, how will we all handle not being the opposition for at least 4 years ? I have to admit it, seems as if a tremendous weight has lifted off of my shoulders and that we can breathe again. This, after living under the specter of bad things happening at any moment.

I feel giddy at the prospect of not being profiled because i am; White , Christian, Family first, right of center, believe in the Constitution and love my firearms. We came extremely close to the precipice of losing key GOD given rights under OB and the Pink Lady. Therefore, we can not lose focus and maintain vigilance to pressure our State and Local legislators to enact laws that will protect us from the grabbers the next time the political pendulum swings back to the left.

We need to embrace new members to the firearms community and continue to grow participation in all the shooting sports and Home defense. It looks like Trump will be able to pack SCOTUS with 2A and freedom supporting Justices which should serve as another bulwark to the inevitable resurgence of the grabber/confiscation crew led by Chuckie Schumer (slated to be Senate Minority Leader).

I want to thank the many great long time members on these Fora that helped several of us to ramp knowledge and making this place a great refuge to frequent.
