So , the old scope on my.270 seemed to have the cross hairs floating a bit. Just wouldn't keep a consistent zero. Groups were 3-4" at 100yds. Usually shot 3/4 to 1 1/4" at 100yds. Got a tasco bucksight 3-9x40 , mounted it and hit the range. 4 rounds and was about 1.5" low and 1.5" right. Made some adjustments, chambered the 5th round..... And when I looked through the scope , the cross hairs were twisted about 20* clockwise. It went back for refund asap. Have a 3-9x 50 Simmons now. 6****s later , dead on at 100yds. And back to shooting nice tight groups. Gun deer season opens Sat , and I can't wait.
