Do US vets get real support?I notice on the news people often thank US vets for their service when they talk to them, which is commendable. Are there other support and benefits for your guys? In Australia people claim to support vets, particularly our veterans day is a national event. However the other 364 days a year its business as normal. In fact if you are a vet looking for a job it can often go against you since people assume you have PTSD and may be unsuitable. Not sure how the UK and other 1st world countries treat their guys. I assume canada supports their guys similar to the US.
