American eclipse 2017. A glimpse of what may be the golden hoard?I am waiting in expectation of what I assume would be a fair representation of what we could expect the golden hoard to look like in a SHTF episode. A million people descending upon western Oregon for a weekend needing all the comforts of home and civilization is a big drain on our local resources. I am anticipating food shortages, power outages, traffic jams unlike we've ever seen and that's just the top three on my list at the moment. Any thoughts on how to prepare for this and maybe document the event for future study would be appreciated...I am going to watch the eclipse myself, but find myself more interested in how the masses will conduct themselves over the long weekend and it's going to be a long weekend.
