Customer Kills Walgreens Robbery Suspect at Pharmacy Counter

Last August I was out with a friend of mine who was delivering food and we stopped at a CVS in a very high end of Orange County California. Just after we walked into the store through an automatic sliding door a guy ran in screaming there is a guy in the parking lot with a gun.

I yelled at the clerk to lock the door and call the police. The clerk(s) just stood there looking at each other.

A few seconds later and the guy who ran into the store ran back out and then runs back inside with someone following him with their hand in their hoody pocket. The guy who first made the announcement about a gun in the parking lot is now having a shouting match with the guy who supposedly has a gun cursing each other back and forth.

I'm trying to duck and cover and leave a clear exit and the idiot who first made the announcement ran up to me and was cursing and asking me what he should do. I told him to shut the hell up and to get the hell away from me.

My buddy and I found an emergency exit at the back of the store. We called the police.

Within three minutes there are police cars everywhere. The police said after my call there were four others - one being the store clerk. Idiots!

Keep your head in the game and don't count on anyone to do the right things when a dangerous situation arrives.

Unbelievable that the guy that first announced the gun in the parking lot would go back outside and get into a shouting match with the guy with a gun. Amazing!
