Flying Dragon trees

I have access to hundreds of Flying Dragon tree seedlings from a friend. I am considering using them as an intruder barrier on a section of my property perimeter. My reading about them suggests they are easy to grow make an impenetrable fence that a person cannot penetrate without great effort and produce a useful but sour fruit. My question is has anyone had actual experience with these trees and if so point out any negatives they found with them.

I have also considered planting them around my garden as my reading suggest a the thorny plants grow so dense that even rabbits can't get through. Is that true?

I do hope someone with knowledge can lend their opinion as to whether I should commit to this plant.
