Hiking Boots/Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis .....

What Hiking Boots (and Hiking Shoes) would you recommend for Plantar Fasciitis ... ?

I am planning a 3-4 week trip up the Pacific Coast from Fort Bragg to Astoria .... and need at least two good pairs of hiking footwear, since I will be doing lots of beachcombing ... whale and bird watching .....

I need 4E (Extra-Wide), size 10 1/2.
