The 1950s and BP and the CIA foment the revolution that turns Iran from a place of high culture to a police state, just because Mossadegh didn't want to spread his cheeks and give up his people's oil.

1999, conveniently a couple of years before the middle east is about to be torn apart, the, lol, 'student revolution' occurs, with an anniversary in 2009.

And now we have another 'revolution'. They got their timing a bit late, and not in the precise order, but there it is.

So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I didn’t show it to you!”
