Magazines won't lock into the Magazine Well of AR-15

Have an SigSaur AR-15 where I was testing out a few of the magazines that I have purchased. For some reason, I was under the impression that any 5.56 NATO magazine would fit into the magazine well and lock in.

I was wrong.

I have a mix of Lancer Hybrid AR-15 and ASC AR-15 and once they are fully loaded, they won't lock into the magazine well. I can easily pull them out with my hand Vs pressing the button to release the magazine.

The Magpul Magazine, which is the one that came with the weapon, is the only one that will lock in correctly. I have to press the button to release it.

So...I'm not sure why this is, or if there is something that I can do for these magazine to modify them of what the issue is.
