Jerry rigging LBE rigs

I'd like to think this is in the right area.

As the title suggests have you guys force fitted any together?

I've got an Ishapore2A1 that needs some dedicated webbing. My thought is to cannibalize a repro M1 Garand cartridge belt for it's pouches and use it with an ALICE setup.
