Seems like an interesting concept, but most comments seem like they work "fair" at best-so I don't plan on ever getting one-but I'm curious and like to learn.
So here are a few rambling thoughts/questions.
They say the longer inserts are more "accurate"-so I assume they can only be used in a break barrel shotgun?
Are they rifled for use with cartridges?
Are they only for use with pistol/low power rounds?For instance-.38 special but not 30.06(or 20g .410 into a 12g)
Are they for shotguns only-can they make say an adapter to shoot .22 out of bolt 30.06?
Can they not make it a full length"barrel" insert..like a 20 inch rifled barrel and chamber for .22 that slides into a 12g fully with no wobble?
Can they make a small adapter the size of a 12g shell say 2 3/4 in. with a .22 round, and load up a pump shotgun with them?
How do you get the empty case out, push it with a stick?
Seems like the most efficient use would be to use a 20 or .410 in a 12g.
Anyways, just kinda bored and throwing a few questions out there-there may be technical or legal reasons limiting their use
some questions about "inserts/adapters"
