Suggestions for a percussion .50 Cal?

My grandmother recently gave me a small bag filled with some of my grandfathers black powder supplies, and I would like to use them and learn how to hunt with black powder firearms. I would like it to be a .50 Cal percussion considering that is what the supplies I was given were, and it included around 50 .50 Cal hollow points, two full tins of percussion caps and a full kit, minus the gun. I'm fine with pistols or rifles, and would appreciate any recommendation on either . Thank you in advance
