2016 Presidential Election

We are 24 hours away from the biggest election in my lifetime and I would assume most of yours. Let us post in here the good, bad, and what I fear will be the worst news of my life.

I never really liked Trump, I always found him to be a terrible public speaker and generally quite annoying. I was planning on voting for Johnson again as I had done in 2012, but I began to really listen to what Trump was saying and not how he was saying it. Perhaps I have prematurely turned into the youngest 36 yr old grumpy old man, but what he was saying was how I felt. To hear someone in politics being so bold and saying things my friends and family had been saying for years was refreshing. We had become sick and tied of putting our heads down and going to work only to be told how we are the bad guys with some imaginary privilege. Our taxes go up, our healthcare taxes go up, our wages stay the same and again we are the bad guys over and over.

I am not sure when I said **** it I am all in for Trump (there is a post somewhere on here that can tell me) but I have no regretted that choice one bit. We are on the edge of a left majority Supreme Court, a conflict with Russia (see "the Russians hax0red it" talking points) and a new era of firearms regulations we are unprepared to follow. Like I said, this is the most important election of my lifetime.

Now sit back and relax because this is also a picture thread so we can all raise a glass to our Constitutional Republic whether it will be rebuilt or begin it's final decay into history.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
