Advice on an AR15?Ok so my LGS is doing another black friday deal with their ARs. Last year i bought their "Operator" model with a free float handguard for $600. They also had/have a more basic model with a clamshell forend for $500 with the operator being $575 this year. Which should I get? The only difference is the forend and will be for a family member if SHTF and they need it. I could buy 6 magazines plus ammo for the difference on the cheaper one sooooo? What are your thoughts?
