Fire a warning shot -- get arrested !

The guy broke the law by firing a warning shot. We all are very aware that you only fire your weapon if you intend to kill or destroy something. He was wrong and I agree with him being charged.

As far back as my day in the Jursassic era even police officers were strictly forbidden to fire warning shots and risked severe reprecussions for breaking the rule.

Having said that, I would like to see him verbally reprimanded by the judge and have his case dismissed with a warning if he has an otherwise clean record. He won't do it again. Next time he'll just kick the trespasser's ass and send him on his way.

P.S. "Brooklyn-ish slum"??? Being a born and raised Brooklynite I resemble that remark!
