1.members who are required reading, and 2. 'nearly sticky threads' list.

I was wondering which forum members folk would consider 'required reading' on this site? Its not to say a random pig farmer with 12 posts is not the best prepared guy here, but for the purposes of outlaying structured advice on a subject(in forum posts or publication wise) who should new guys be harkening too?

I am interested in fixing a few gaps in my prep and aside from reading the stickies, searches and questions I thought a list of experts in their field would streamline some searches.
