Mossbeeg 590...any others you recommend?

I used to have a Mossberg 590...its been a lot of years since I got rid of it.

It had a ghost ring site. Was a matte black finish. Barrel was short. 8 round magazine. ...I'm doing my best to remember.

Anyhow. ..I don't mind spending some coin on a good one. It would be for home defense. Would love to hear some thoughts.
