Shelf life of...O2A

Haven't seen this addressed and was hoping for an answer. I've got some packaging to do tomorrow...about 20 one gallon bags worth. I have some 300cc and 500cc oxygen absorbers that are in their original unopened packaging from the vendor. They were packaged in a heavy clear plastic, which is vacuumed tightly. I received these a year ago, used a bunch, and put the rest in a non-airtight container.

Plastic bags being permeable, are these oxygen absorbers viable?
