Attic storage

Definitely don't store food outside of a climate controlled environment. Any residual moisture in the food (there's always some) can cause problems, like condensation.

I store several 20# propane tanks, a couple dozen 1# propane bottles, split wood for my rocket stove, camping equipment, and a 100 solar panel with a charge controller in my attic. None of that can be damaged by the 140F heat it may reach in the summer.
