Ducks

The place that I'm buying has the remains of an old chicken coop. I'd like to put the roof and front door back on it and use it for ducks in the spring. I'm looking at ducks instead of chickens because they could keep me in eggs without overdoing the egg production, I wouldn't need to deal with a crowing rooster, and I just plain like them. Most books and information on the internet are directed toward chickens, and there's not much about ducks.

Any thoughts on the subject?
