Remington Awarded Contract to Supply U.S. Army with Carbines

It would appear things are looking up for the once bankrupt Remington Arms. In May of 2018, Remington Arms exited bankruptcy. Then in July of 2018 the company was awarded a contract to supply the U.S. Army with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) 5.56mm Carbines.

A press release from Remington sent out on July 24, 2018 reads:

Remington Awarded Army Carbine Contract

Huntsville, AL – Remington is pleased to announce the recent award of a contract to supply the US Army with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) 5.56mm Carbines.
