So why did she dance with killers? What is the "investment" for? Well, British mineral companies are busy (as we speak) negotiating mining rights all over the north (minerals on Boer land). These companies have private security, a pocket army if you will. This is pretty normal behavior for powers. I just wonder how familiar their executives and officers are with the Boers and whether they will underestimate us yet again.
