full size pistol carry hi cap vs hi power

I am mulling pro / con of carrying a double stack 15 + 1 9mm vs a single stack 7 + 1 45acp.

Now the 9mm is a S&W 5906 so I can confidently shoot as hot +P+ out of it as I want to. So I am saying souped up 9mm can hit pretty hard too.

Both guns are heavy and big so size and weight are equal.

Per the 45acp extend the argument for any other bigger, more powerful caliber than 9mm.
