My advice is to go someplace you can try one on. Packs can be like shoes; what fits me well may fit you horrible. And don’t go too cheap or you’ll just be buying another pack sooner than you want. In short, buy a quality trusted brand and walk around the store with it on for a bit (preferably with something in it). Most stores will let you do this if they have a decent sales staff who understands why you’re doing it, because they would do the same.
