Dandelion roots, what is the nutritional value?

I've searched hard on google but I'm not finding much.
I could fill a wheelbarrow with dandelion roots from local grassland in a few hours, I've already eaten them roasted as an experiment, quite nice, almost like parsnip.

What I'm wondering is the nutritional value, are they a good starchy carb like potatoes or are they just dead calories, like eating grass.

If anyone knows the answer I'd be very grateful because for me they would be an abundant potential supply of food if needed.
