TC barrel\pin question.

Picked up a set of barrels pawn shop hopping today.
Neither what I wanted, but too cheap not to and I already own ammo for both.

Obviously together, one of them the pin fits perfectly, the other is too tight.

Both factory TC, both Encore, both same era. (Both came with forends, but the issue (as anyone who can answer knows) happens when forends are not part of the equation.)

Before I wrap some very fine sandpaper around a dowel and very slowly and carefully 'enlarge' the tight hole....

Am I missing something?

(May just wait till I go near a buddy with a lathe and milling machine, but I like being able to solve issues myself, whether or not I choose to.)

No burs or piening which would account for a stopage in one place, tried putting the pin in out the action, from both sides, and the pin itself reversed.
