I was raised buy a parents who lived in the depression and thru wwii and they would talk about having troubles getting parts and supplies for vehicles like tires, metal, iron ect mostly for repairs.... I grew up in central Michigan and we lived in an area that was a major supplier of sugar beets, which they grew for trade, I have always had amply supply of food on hand and am looking to extend what I have but I am also thinking about other non edibles like motor oil, welding rods, and iron for repairs, things that maybe hard to find if shipping slows down, we always had food thru the depression, not the best at times, from what I have been told, but we ate, just hard to get tires for the car and oil... ect,,,, thoughts,,,
