GPS and surveying

How many acres?

Talk to a local surveyor. It may not cost much for them to do it for you. If it is a two-person job they might let you help them to keep costs down. Or it may be all automated now. My surveying knowledge is decades out of date.

Or hire/borrow a dumpy level, get a friend to help, and do it yourself. The measuring isn't hard (I tease a surveyor friend that all they do is go for pleasant walks around the country, it isn't really a job!),and the data crunching afterwards isn't hard, just tedious.
But there may be an app/download that can do it for you.

It is relatively easy to do with a dumpy level. It is even easier on flatter ground. You need someone else to help you. Move to different grid points and read the height. Record the heights, then afterwards plot them to give the levels. More grid points gives more detail so an automatic method like you suggest would be excellent.
