When matters of politics conflict with the Word, I have no problem with it being included in a sermon. Separation of church and state has no Constitutional footing, and does not, or should not apply here. Our retired pastor would never tell us who to vote for. But he would simply tell us to compare what they stand for on the issues and what the Bible says about those things issues. It’s not rocket surgery.
