I remember back when the big "o" was president and the subject of reparation payment were really going strong, although that train wreck of an idea has not faded all that much.

I had a long conversation with some folks about it. One was a loudmouth Jamaican descendant who came here long after slavery was over. She said her family were slaves back when. So I asked her if they were slaves here and she said no, back on the island. So I said her complaint was with England and she should ask the Queen for that. I thought she was going to have a mental breakdown as she couldn't understand the whole concept.
