I gave up on the NFL a decade or two ago.

I find it pathetic that adult men and women spend so much mental and emotional energy, time, and money on pro and college sport nonsense.

These leagues lost their quaint charm sometime in the 1990s I'd say, and now they're just a bunch of overpaid pampered useful idiots IMO. America would be much better off without those organizations. And certainly people would be far better off spending their limited resources and time more productively.
