I really do blame LBJ.
There used to be a solid black family life. ( higher% married than whites even ).
There used to be thriving community of small black entrepreneurs.
Poverty in the black community was declining faster than the national rate.

Somehow that all changed in the 60s.

Things that havent helped ..
The war on drugs.
Public sector unions ( teachers ).
Welfare structure banning males from a home to be eligible for welfare.
The war on discipline in the classroom.

All intersect to create a swamp that is hard to get out off.
