Wavian Jerry can- will old spout fit new cans?

Hi all.
So i was looking to get a new jerry. I have some of the old wavian jerry cans and they are awesome, but all of the new ones have that stoopid carb compliant spout (the one that spills 10x the amount the old one did). I have been googling my fingers off, but cant find anywhere if the old spouts (that worked wonderfully for 80 years) will fit the new cans. I'm not going to pay $80 for a gas can that makes me want to scream.
