Storing rifle in desert conditions....So I am curious, lets say I have a gun hypothetically and I live in a desert dry climate I have about 2k rounds of ammo as well and the rifle is in a case and the stock is not wood but synthetic. Now I know the dry heat will be fine but we have a lot of changes in temps in our home, when its 115 degrees outside we have the AC on non stop, when its 25 degree outside we have the heater on etc will these changes in temps INSIDE the house be bad for a rifle and ammo not in a temp regulated gun safe? There is barely ever any humidity here, like ever. Thanks!
