It's a method to make containers release every last drop in them regardless of how sticky or pasty it is. The last drop of ketchup, mustard, mayo, paint, hand cream, liquid soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc, all coming out of the container with no waste.
It may not seem important but we waste between 5-20% of nonsolid consumables that way globally. When you add up that last dribble from every bottle of squeeze mustard globally, you are talking about more mustard than you'll likely ever see in your life.
For industry this will mean real savings on high dollar viscous lubes, glues, coatings, and other various industrial chemical products.
