information on TA 1042 field phone

We have 3 ta 1042 field phones with hard wire. Wiring 2 together work great but is the anyway to wire more than 2 (say 3--4 ) and make them work.? have tried everything we know.We like the hard wire because they would be secure but can't seem to make them work with more the 2 .
