Sleeping pads for cold weather and a bad back

I'm a big guy, 6'4'' 280 give or take, side sleeper, can't do Hammocks, that was my first direction I went, Warbonnet Blackbird, nice upper/lower down shell for it. Just not for me, probably the best choice if you can do hammocks.

Sold it all after a few months of trying to get used to it. Bought a number of high end pads, I'd bottom out on most of them, wasn't happy. Ended up with an Exped Downmat 9 in max size they make it. Might be better out there but haven't found it yet, buy once...
