5col Gizzard Shad Gill Net, 6'x50'

A few weeks ago we made our 5col Backpacker Gill Net available. That's an ultra-compact, lightweight gill net designed for easy carry.

This is that net's big brother: the 5col Gizzard Shad Gill Net. This net was originally intended for catching bait fish, but is also an excellent way to catch pan fish. At 6' top to bottom and 50' long, it's larger than you would normally carry in your backpack, but is a great tool for the homestead or vehicle. It has a floating top rope and lead-core bottom rope, and the whole package weighs in at approx. 4 lbs.

Check your local fish & game laws before using this. It will be illegal to use in some places, and will require a special license in many others. We're a survival gear company, so we envision this being used in emergencies when fishing regulations will be an after thought at best. However, this is a tool intended for regular use, and many of you will be able to really put it to work.
