In 1982 i bought a JMB, 50 cal mt rifle with the steel furniture, It is a beautiful rifle. Yesterday i had the good luck to get a phone call from a lady who,s husband passed away, he was a muzzle loader guy i got to know thru rendezvous he was 76 im 68. we talked on the phone a few times a week about all the old guys from rendezvous we knew who have passed away. He was a good man. His sons were never interested in firearms, sad, He gave his 3 CVA traditional rifles to the gun club thats all i knew he had he never mentioned any other.I went over to his home at the request of his wife to see what he wanted me to have MILLIE, brought out a NEW in box 5o cal JMB twin to mine, I did not know what to say. we talked about how much he wanted for it She told me he just wanted me to have it. They were by no means a wealthy couple and i knew she could use the money, AFTER showing her on line what it was worth i told her i would only take it if i could buy it, She started crying and i had a tear in my eye. I gave millie $1000.00 for it. It will stay in the vault until i decide who will get it when my time is up.
