Geofencing: Do you know about this? HELP if you're smart!

Can it be used to create a perimeter alarm with a set of TrackR's or similar "car key finder"?

If not, why not?

This is what I bought, to find lost keys, cats, doggies, and stolen items. I'd like to use them for a Geofence to set up a perimeter alarm for intruders.

I bought 12 of them, 6 with 6 free.
