Whats with Zombies?

Zombies are a metaphor for the mindless masses of people thronging to enforce their ignorance upon those few who see clearly. They are a metaphor for the tyranny of the majority. When it comes to most things, the majority is always wrong, yet we live in a society that glorifies the will of thay ignorant majority, be it the will of the electorate at the voting booth, or "consensus" on theories like climate change.

Our subconscious, be it objectively or our of conceit, believes this to be monstrously dangerous, yet we have qualms about killing our fellow man. Allowing him to be reduced to a mindless sub-human allows us to feed our subconscious need to contemplate the otherwise unthinkable, on the premise that the masses if ignorant are less than human. So all of these people obsessing over the latest zombie movie are really just imagining ways to justify degrade and destroy their fellow man.
