Australia Bug out vehicleI am looking to buy myself a car, and would like to have one with the ability to bug out in it if needed, but use it as an everyday car.
Any recommendations?
I used to own all the Jeeps made after 1993, but fun as they are, they are not very good bug out vehicles, and even worse as an everyday car.
I looked in to Land Rovers as well, but they are very overpriced here, have expensive parts and very unreliable off road.
Nissan Patrol is very reliable, but not a city car and eats up fuel like a jet plane. 15 liters in the city.
Toyota land cruiser, a bit better on the fuel consumption, but has a lot of electronics that tend to fail.
What type of car do you drive and rely to use as a bug out car?
