Electronic stores Denver/metro shortwave radio supplies?

I hope somebody will help me out. im trying to get back into listening to shortwave radio after having let my interest lapse as life got "in the way" so to speak. i need to build up some equipment to repair & replace what i let deteriorate.

I'm looking for an electronic store/s in the Denver Metro area, hopefully in the north west (wheat ridge, golden, arvada, westminster, thornton, or lakewood) where i can look over the small portable shortwave receivers in person & have a location to return them if they dont work well.

i know of and have visited Ham Radio Outlet in the late 1990's and its still there.... however, its nearly an hours drive in good traffic. im hoping theres a hole in the wall store closer to me. i also may need supplies for making an antenna and seeing what other cool stuff i can do.

if nothing pans out, ill pack an overnight bag to go the Ham Radio Outlet

as it stands i have a beautiful old Realistic DX 150A receiver that i really love. i love having to work the controls with finesse to tune in stations.
